6/24 Summer Reading Begins! Start Logging your hours to help save wildlife

Freebie Fridays

Every Friday is Freebie Friday. Come and get passes for Massachusetts Fun Places.

*Just like last year 100 books throughout the kids rooms are marked as lucky reader books. If you are lucky enough to check one out, you get a prize!

*Your Reading Counts! This year we are reading to save wildlife. For every 250 hours read, the library will "adopt" a wild animal. Everyone's hours count, so let's see how many animals we can save!

Library Summer Hours

Tuesday and Thursday 1:00-8:00

Wednesday and Friday 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-5:00

Decorate the Library -2 PM

It's a jungle out there, and we want it to be a jungle in here, too. Come to the library for an hour and help us decorate

Henna Tattoos - 4-6 PM

For ages 12-18. Anyone Under Age 16 needs written parental permission. FREE!

Fairy House Workshop- 10 AM

We'll share a fairy story, and then head outside to build our own fairy house. Materials are provided, but families are welcome to bring their own natural building supllies. Afterwards, we'll have fairy snacks.

Put on your P.J.'s, grab a stuffed animal and head to the library.

Stuffed Animal Birthday Party- 2 PM

Come celebrate the birthday of one of your special friends. Bring a stuffed animal and we'll have stories, crafts and of course, birthday cake!

Origami and Mask Workshop- 7 PM

For kids ages 7 and up. *Registration is required and space is limited.

Live Wolf Presentation- 4 PM

Come and meet Michael LeBlanc and one of his special wolves. We'll learn about wolf behavior and their history in Mass.*Registration Required.M

Twilight Saga Book Discussion- 7 PM

The 4th and final book comes out August 2nd. Come talk about what you think will happen with Bella and Edward.

Jungle Encounters- 7 PM

This awesome program will bring more live animals to the library. Come and meet such exotic creatures as a hedgehog, fennec fox, and hopefully a Ringtail Cat! *Registration Required.

Pet Show- 3 PM

Oh yes, it is just what it sounds like. The Opportunity for you to show off your pet. All dogs need to be on a leash, all other animals appropriately contained. In addition to the animal, a kid and parent should be present! Ribbons will be awarded for qualities such as most sloberry, nicest tail, best nose and more!
