Holidays
While we make every effort to consider holidays and religious observances when planning programs, we follow the official Town of Paxton observed holiday list as well as the Wachusett Regional School District School Calendar to best serve our Paxton residents. We offer a variety of programs at different times of day, different days of the week, seasonally, and annually, in order to reach the broadest audience in Paxton.
Paid Holidays for Town of Paxton Employees
The library is closed Saturdays when Monday is a holiday in order for eligible employees to receive holiday pay.
Note:the library is not scheduled to open on any Mondays due to budgetary constraints.

Library Closures - Other
Library may be temporarily closed for scheduled activities such as facilities and renovation projects or for staff training. Advance notice will be provided.
Library may also be temporarily closed due to emergencies such as inclement weather, public health concerns, or insufficient staffing due to illness and/or emergencies.
Open Tues. & Thurs. 1pm-8pm, Wed. & Fri. 9am-5pm, Sat. 10am-2pm- Closed Saturdays in August. Closed Saturdays when Monday is a holiday.
